The preview

Predict and Last Man Standing are open for the weekend of 16 to 19 October. Last Man Standing locks at 8PM on Friday, when Burnley v Wolves kicks off, a day before the Premier League starts. Predict's first match, Everton v Chelsea, is at 12:30 on Saturday, and that's also when the Golden Result locks.

Three of the five unbeaten sides at the last preview still are: Manchester City, the only team with a perfect record at six from six, plus Everton and Brentford. At the other end, Tottenham, Bournemouth and Fulham are all still without a win after six games, and all three are at home this weekend.

Below is Predicts10's own call on all ten fixtures, with the reasoning. We got 6 of 10 results right last week and you can check the record on the Gameweek 6 preview. As ever, nothing about how the crowd is leaning appears until each fixture locks.

Everton FCEFSat, Oct 17, 12:30 PMCFChelsea FC

Everton are unbeaten after six, with two wins and four draws, and haven't lost at home. Chelsea bounced back from a 3-0 defeat at Brentford with a 5-1 win over Bournemouth, but they've lost both away games since the opening-day win at Fulham and have conceded 13 in six.

Our call1 - 1

Everton have drawn four of six, and an away side that leaks goals keeps this level.

Final score: 0-2 - we missed it.

Fulham FCFFSat, Oct 17, 03:00 PMHCHull City AFC

Fulham are still looking for their first win after six games and have taken one point from three at home. Hull have drawn three of their last four, including a 2-2 at home to Everton last week.

Our call1 - 2

Fulham are winless at home and Hull are the steadier side right now.

Final score: 1-0 - we missed it.

Manchester City FCMCSat, Oct 17, 03:00 PMITIpswich Town FC

City have won all six, scoring 16 and conceding five. Ipswich have won three and lost three, and have one win from three away from home.

Our call3 - 1

City are the form team by a distance, but Ipswich have scored in four of their six, so a goal back.

Final score: 3-2 - we got the result right.

Brentford FCBFSat, Oct 17, 03:00 PMLFLiverpool FC

Brentford are unbeaten, with two wins and four draws, and have scored 12 in six. Liverpool are unbeaten away from home (a draw at Newcastle, wins at Ipswich and Bournemouth) but were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City last week.

Our call2 - 1

Brentford's home form and their goals, against a Liverpool side that has scored only seven all season.

Final score: 1-2 - we missed it.

Newcastle United FCNUSat, Oct 17, 05:30 PMAVAston Villa FC

Newcastle are unbeaten at home (two draws, a win) but conceded four in both of their away defeats at Leeds and Coventry. Villa have won once in six, and a 3-2 win at Tottenham and a 2-2 with Brentford are their best results.

Our call2 - 1

Newcastle score at home and Villa have won once away from home, but both defences are loose.

Final score: 0-1 - we missed it.

Leeds United FCLUSun, Oct 18, 02:00 PMMUManchester United FC

Leeds are unbeaten at home (two draws, a 4-1 win) and lost 2-1 at Arsenal last week for their first defeat. Manchester United have one win in six and haven't won away from home, with two draws and a defeat.

Our call1 - 0

Leeds at home against a United side with no away win this season.

Final score: 1-1 - we missed it.

AFC BournemouthABSun, Oct 18, 02:00 PMSASunderland AFC

Bournemouth are winless in six and were beaten 5-1 at Chelsea last time out, with no win at home yet. Sunderland have lost their last three and conceded nine in them.

Our call1 - 1

Neither side looks capable of winning this one, and Bournemouth have drawn three of six.

Final score: 2-0 - we missed it.

Brighton & Hove Albion FCB&Sun, Oct 18, 02:00 PMCPCrystal Palace FC

Brighton have scored 18 in six, more than anyone, and are unbeaten at home. Palace beat Forest 3-1 last week and have two wins all season.

Our call2 - 1

Brighton's attack is the league's best, but Palace have scored in four of their six.

Final score: 5-0 - we got the result right.

Nottingham Forest FCNFSun, Oct 18, 04:30 PMAFArsenal FC

Forest have one win in six and haven't scored in any of their three home games. Arsenal have won five of six, with the only defeat the 3-0 at Brighton, and beat Leeds 2-1 last week.

Our call0 - 2

Forest can't score at home and Arsenal have won two of three away from home.

Final score: 0-1 - we got the result right.

Tottenham Hotspur FCTHMon, Oct 19, 08:00 PMCCCoventry City FC

Tottenham are winless in six and have scored three goals in all. Coventry lost their first four and have since won two in a row, 1-0 at Forest and 4-1 over Newcastle.

Our call1 - 1

Something has to give, but Tottenham can't score and Coventry have won only one away from home.

Final score: 3-1 - we missed it.
